These beautiful cotton blouses are handmade in Aldama, a small community in the state of Chiapas, Mexico.
Together with the Hunger Project Mexico and its cooperative J'Pas Joloviletik we designed a blouse which pattern and color is typical and reflects the women's traditional costume of Aldama.
The blouses are all made by hand on a back strap loom by the women of the community. It takes up to four weeks to make a blouse.
All our products are handmade and may have slight imperfections, which make them even more beautiful and charming.
